What we wanted to set up

We believe that sometimes couples just need a bit of space for themselves to relax, unwind and just spend some quality time together to remember what's most important in life. In 2021 my plan was simple; spend a year getting everything just so, then offer guests the best possible experience while keeping everything personal, casual, and friendly. My ethos is "if it's not perfect then it's wrong". No self check in with a lock box, no bringing your own wood for the fire, no paying extra for welcome packs or bringing your own towels. From the moment you arrive I will be there to show you around, get you settled and answer any questions you have. During your stay, I am available 24 hours a day if needed.

So who am I?

My name is Tom Greenwood and I'm the proud owner of Rainbow's End. First and foremost I'm a builder by trade, and an avid alternative energy enthusiast with dreams of living completely off grid. I currently work full time for the Police while running Rainbow's End, but somehow hosting guests who share my passion for boats doesn't feel like work.

I take great pride in everything I offer to my guests, and embrace feedback on how the experience can be improved.

What is a static rental?

I know this sounds obvious but I often get asked "can we drive the boat? " Unfortunately given the cost and size of Rainbow's End it was decided to offer the boat as a static moored boat and avoid the problems associated with self drive hire. Trust me she's a large lady to maneuver and you wouldn't have the same relaxing experience after a day of sailing.
